Hi, my name is Brian and his name is Bryan

We have both been passionate about driving our MX-5's here in New Zealand for some years and across several models. On one of our local weekend excursions we discovered that each of us held an almost identical dream. That dream was to provide MX-5 tours for overseas enthusiasts visiting New Zealand.

So instead of just dreaming we have joined forces and have made a reality of those dreams which we call MX-5 Touring. We now have a collection of cars and have lined up great 8 and 15 day tours in both the North and South Islands which are described elsewhere on our site.

A bit of back ground:
Bryan in days gone by was an avid hiker and mountain climber which has given him a detailed knowledge of the remote outdoors parts of the South Island and the scenic wonders they hold. And of course he knows the roads to get there. I spent my energies on sailing and motor sport, particularly rallying. The latter has taken me to remote roads and places all over both islands and has given me a good understanding of route selection and timing and the need for careful preparation and planning. Of course ( as you can see from the photos) we are a wee bit older now but still crave great outdoors adventure garnished with the good company of like minded folk doing something we all enjoy. What better way to do that than another MX-5 adventure?

What we will do for you

We will provide you with a great car and take you places only the locals know, on roads that excite us every time we head down them. We will make an adventure for you sprinkled with memories that you will savour for a long time. Of course we will take you to a few touristy places as well, but our real focus is to take heed of what excites and interests our guests. Maybe fine wine is your thing, or perhaps Rhododendrons make your pulse race. Maybe old cars and planes do it for you or perhaps the excitement of a lonely challenging narrow strip of windy tarseal and the secrets it holds make the journey your high light. So long as we know these things about you we will do our best to accommodate you.

One of the great things about these MX-5 adventures is the camaraderie that develops and we are looking forward to becoming friends with each and every one of our clients who join us on an MX 5 Touring adventure...which hopefully will include you one day.
