EASTER 2012 "WARBIRDS OVER WANAKA"
"Warbirds Over Wanaka" - Easter 2012 - This is truly a NOT TO BE MISSED EVENT FOR VINTAGE AIRCRAFT BUFFS. This event has been running for about 20 years now and is only held every second Easter. Accommodation is always highly sought after as Wanaka accommodation is limited to a few small hotels, motels and backpackers. Many visitors attending this event are accommodated in Queenstown about one hour’s drive away. Queenstown is a great base for those attending the event that wish to spend some time in NZ's premier adventure visitor capital - and there are some great drives in the area. Should you be interested in this tour please contact us shortly as accommodation needs to be booked well in advance and we will plan the rest of the tour around the event. This would suit a group of likeminded friends who want to travel together.
We have scheduled an eleven day tour for this very special event. The tour travels over Arthurs Pass to Hokitica, Fox Glacier, Wanaka with two days in Te Anau and three days in Queenstown over Easter. The tour includes the latest mx-5 model, all breakfasts, most evening meals when traveling, Milford sound cruise, WalterPeak cruise and homested dinner and a silver pass to Saturdays Warbirds performance.You have time to also attend either the Friday or Sunday show or just go out and explore some of the great roads in the Lakes area
