ARTHUR'S PASS $270.00 p.p.
We drive across the Canterbury Plains, following the braided Waimakariri River up Porters Pass and into the mountains that lead us to Arthurs Pass and the main divide. 
At the top of the Pass we stop for photos and if time and weather permits - we follow the twisting plunging Otira Gorge to its base.
After enjoying a late lunch at the Arthurs Pass Village we head back to Christchurch. This is a wonderful way to experience the majesty of Arthurs Pass. 300-320kms
HANMER SPRINGS AND THE LEWIS PASS
to the Waipara Valley wine region, and then onto the beautiful alpine resort of Hanmer Springs, and its recently refurbished Thermal Park, where we take time for a refreshing plunge. Time and weather permitting, we head on up towards the Lewis Pass - a stunning drive through beautiful native forest to one of the South Islands fantastic mountain passes. Grudgingly we turn around to head home to Christchurch with a great day of driving and exploring behind us. 341 kms
Prices are based on two persons per car. Lunch, afternoon tea and petrol are all included.
You must have a valid New Zealand drivers licence, or an International Drivers licence accompanied with an authorized translation if not in English and be over 25 years of age to drive.You must also be able to drive with a manual six speed gearbox.
