With autumn upon us we are now planning our trip schedule for spring and summer touring our great little Mazda mx-5s sports cars on some of the best roads in NZ. It has been a difficult time in Christchurch after our two earthquakes and it seems likely that it will take some time for the damaged centre of the city to be revived. However, the focus of our tours has been the great touring roads of the south Island and these roads are totally undamaged. The West Coast drive is still as spectacular, Queenstown and the Lakes area are still fantastic and the road to Milford Sound is just as magnificent as ever. The loss of Rugby Wourld Cup games from Christchurch has taken the pressure off accommodation for the September and October period and arrival through Christchurch Airport should pose no problems for visitors.
Hotel and Motel accommodation availability has been difficult but has eased of as most emergency workers have now left for home. Because our tours are small, motel, B&B and hosted accommodation are readily available for the summer season.

If you plan to visit New Zealand over this period you can hire our mx-5's on a hire only basis and we can offer members of an overseas mx-5 club an excellent discount if you hire four or more cars for more than five days.
We can also arrange accommodation, a support vehicle and if required, a local guide.

EASTER 2012 "WARBIRDS OVER WANAKA"
"Warbirds Over Wanaka" - Easter 2012 - This is truely a NOT TO BE MISSED EVENT FOR VINTAGE AIRCRAFT BUFFS. 
This event has been running for about 20 years now and is only held every second Easter. Accommodation is always highly sought after as Wanaka accommodation is limited to a few small hotels, motels and backpackers. Many visitors attending this event are accommodated in 
Queenstown about one hours drive away. Queenstown is a great base for those attending the event that wish to spend some time in NZ's premier adventure visitor capital - and there are some great drives in the area.
